September 11, 2001 was one of the darkest days in the United States of America history. In three different city/states, there was three different attacks. New York City, Shanksville, Pennsylvania, and at the Pentagon in Washington, D.C. This was the scariest day in US History, and had everybody's eyes, glue to the TV.

8:46 A.M. American Airlines Flight 11 was Hijacked, and crash into the World Trade Center’s North Tower, floors 93-99, that killed everyone that was on the plane, and hundreds that was inside the building.

9:03 A.M. United Airlines Flight 175 was Hijacked, and crash into the World Trade Center’s South Tower, floors 77-85, that killed everyone that was on the plane, and hundreds that was inside the building.

9:37 A.M. American Airlines Flight 77 was Hijacked, and crash into the Pentagon’s Western Facade, that killed 59 people that was on board of the plane, and 125 Military and Civilian Personnel, that was inside the building.
9:59 A.M. the South Tower, of the World Trade Center Collapse, just 56 Minutes after the impact. The Tower took only 10 seconds, to fall. With killing approximately 600 workers, and first responders that was in the building and the surrounding area.

10:03 A.M. United Airlines Flight 93 was Hijacked, and crash into the a field in Somerset County, Pennsylvania, killing 40 people that was on board of the plane. The crash site is approximately 20 minutes flying time from Washington, D.C.

10:15 A.M. the Pentagon E Ring, Collapse. The damaged section of the Pentagon’s outermost offices, known at the “E Ring”. No rescue worker are injured.
10:28 A.M. the North Tower, of the World Trade Center Collapse, just 102 Minutes (1 hour and 42 minutes) after the impact. The Collapse killed approximately 1,400 people that was in the building and the surrounding area.

11:02 A.M. New York City’s Mayor Rudolph Gluliani calls for the evacuation of over 1 million residents, workers, and tourists from lower Manhattan.

8:00 P.M. Rescue Workers was call to “Ground Zero” to clean up the towers, and to help look for anyone who is buried under all the rubble.

September 12 in the afternoon, workers will extricate the eighteenth survivor, Genelle Gucman-McMillen, from the remains of Stairwell B, of the North Tower. She will be the last person, to be rescued alive.

How many people died in the 9/11 Attacks?
Casualties. The attacks resulted in the deaths of 2,996 people, including the 19 hijackers. The 2,977 victims included 246 on the four planes (from which there were no survivors), 2,606 in the World Trade Center and in the surrounding area, and 125 at the Pentagon.
